UPStation S: Network Quality Power and Complete Operational Control

Liebert designed the UPStation family of UPS to meet the demands of network computers - the need for high power quality and communications control of remote operations.

UPStation S provides the power quality demanded by networks:

• True on-line operation for tried and tested reliability.
• Low input power distortion eliminates electrical noise and harmonics concerns.
• Power conditioning minimizes potentially damaging power transients.
• Wide input voltage range tolerates voltage fluctuations and deep brown outs.
• Fast, smooth transfer to battery during outages or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Standard battery allows for orderly shutdown.
• Extended battery allows for ride-through of longer outages.

Communications features allow power control of connected network equipment from the front of the unit, or from a remote computer terminal with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol):

• Remote control of connected equipment.
• Remote monitoring of alarms and status information.
• Remote reset of network devices.
• Password protection ensures security prevents unauthorized access to network.

In addition, UPStation S grows with your site needs. The standard unit is a compact, easily installed cabinet. By selecting an upgradeable model, you can expand your power capacity as your network grows. Load modules may be added or modified to meet changing requirements. Battery capacity may also be added, providing additional back-up time to match your needs.
