Inter-Vault
Our facilities are located in East Troy, WI at the corner of Hwy L and Stone School Road. The campus is three joined buildings that total 10,500 square feet and sit on 4 acres of land surrounded by farm fields. The original building was erected in the mid 1800’s, with locally quarried stone, and served as a “one room school house” until 1949. It currently operates as a craft school. In 1949 a second, 4,000 square foot structure was built. This building accommodates WCF & Associates, Inc. administration and engineering. In 1957 a third, 4,100 square foot concrete and brick building was added. This building is dedicated to customer data storag and houses our data replication and server co-location facilities. When purchased from East Troy Township in October 1999 the entire facility underwent an extensive environmental, electrical and security renovation. We now have 480 volt, 400 amp 3 phase electrical power with a natural gas fueled backup generator, independent sewer, water and redundant data feeds. Our security systems include 24 Hr x 7 day remote monitoring of fire, motion and intrusion. Remotely monitored security cameras provide additional security at sensitive points. The rural location provides a secure environment that is physically removed from your primary location, using different utility power, phone service, and communication lines. The location is easy to get to; just 3 miles south of I-43.
Structure: This brick and mortar building is dedicated to secure customer data storage, co-location hardware and disaster recovery and systems. The unit has been hardened for security and houses the data center. Data Center: The data center is an 870 square foot computer room with its own A/C plant and a Liebert 30 KVA UPS that supplies full signal conditioning and automatic failover power until the backup generator comes on line. Data communication is by redundant lines using different topologies and vendors. Present bandwidth is 5.5 Mb. The computer room is windowless
and access is limited to a single door with an electronic locking system
with logging. In addition to the alarm system the data center is monitored by
streaming video cameras for remote monitoring and viewing. |
