Finding Specific Report Information
Printing a Page from the Report
Selecting a Report
Set your browser
to the web page designated for WEBPrinter in your organization.
In the example below
the URL is http://alpha2.wcfa.com/scripts/webprinter.exe.
Tip:
Set a bookmark in your browser for future use.
Select the report
that you wish to view:
Click the down arrow next to the "Filename:" box
Click on the report name.
You may also specify the page to view.
Click the GOTO button.
The report will be displayed in
your browser.
If you did not specify a page, the first page of the report is
displayed.
There are several buttons available to help you navigate through the report.
To select a specific
page:
Type
the page number in the box next to "PAGE"
Click the "GOTO" button
Use the "NEXT"
and "PREV" buttons to move forward 1 page or back 1
page.
Moving to the
first or last page of the report.
First
page of the report click the "TOP" button.
Last page of the report click the "BOTTOM"
button.
Finding Specific Report Information
In large reports it may be difficult to search for specific data manually. WEBPrinter offers you search capabilities.
Search for pages
where the data can be found
Type
the text to search for in the "Search string" box
Click the "FINDNEXT" button
Search for text
on the current page.
When
WEBPrinter places you on a page where the text is found use the
find capability of your web browser.
From the EDIT item on the menu bar click on find.
Enter the text that you are searching for.
Click on the OK, or the Find next button in the
Find dialog box.
Continue
until you find what you are looking for or until the find is
done.
If you did not
find what you were looking for on the current page.
Click
the "FINDNEXT" button on the WEBPrinter page to search
for other pages that may contain the data.
Printing a Page of a Report
To print the page currently displayed in the WEBPrinter window
Click on the "DISPLAY PAGE FOR PRINTING" button.
This will remove screen buttons and other items displayed at the top of the WEBPrinter page.
The page will be displayed as it will look when printed.
Use the print
function of your browser to print the page.
